N17CreativeCallings have been out on the road networking and conducting outreach with creatives within the N17 postcode area.
N17CreativeCallings is a unique business and skills programme that Fashion-Enter Ltd was awarded in 2019 with the GLA, Haringey Council and European Social Fund. A wide range of services are available and all are free of charge to the residents and business owners that reside in N17 catchment area.
Significant results have been achieved and are summarised in this video and the programme was selected by European Social Fund as an outstanding implemented programme despite the consequences of Covid during the last two years.
The programme is closing in June 2023 and there are now limited places available; we’re looking for some outstanding talented businesses and individuals that are ready to embark on skills training, collaborations, tailor-made mentoring, masterclasses and seminars. We have also in the past provided free qualifications for stitching, patterns and this can be extended to tailoring too.
On Saturday 10th September the Fashion-Enter / N17CreativeCallings team attended the Marksfield Road Festival, a free festival for all ages taking place across the weekend on Markfield Road in South Tottenham. Organised by Gaunson Creative Studios with The Cove, Craving and Ten87, the festival celebrates both emerging and established creatives through art, music and discussion.
The team had the opportunity to meet some inspiring creatives that will hopefully engage on the programme. It was also a great opportunity to meet up with Angela Britton too, who is currently on the programme and has achieved additional sales with her star constellation charts that are ideal for wedding gifts. This was developed on the N17CreativeCallings programme.
The team is looking forward to supporting more creative talents on this innovative initiative.
