N17CreativeCallings is a European Social Fund (ESF) and GLA programme that was awarded to Fashion-Enter Ltd as the lead provider in collaboration with Collage Arts in November 2019.
Fashion-Enter Ltd CEO Jenny Holloway and the educational team remembers how excited they were to win their first ever ESF contract which was at the end of Brexit and also three months before the first Covid lockdown started.
The programme initially had a very encouraging start with both providers being inundated with requests to join the programme – at one point FEL had over 300 enquiries from fashion designers and businesses.
However, Covid had quite a devastating effect on the programme with many freelance creatives not being able to find work. This however is all in the past.
The N17CreativeCallings programme was selected to showcase at the ESF Celebration Event in March 2022 and since this high accolade FEL has been inundated with requests to join the programme. The initiative has been so enthusiastically received that the GLA has agreed to extend the program to June 2023! What a result!
If you are a creative business based in N17, Tottenham, north London then come and meet us at the Markfield Road Festival on Saturday 10th September 2022 from 2pm.
Team members from FEL will be visiting the event and will be meeting creatives that want to develop their business with unique hand-held mentoring from industry experts. We are also able to offer free Level 2 and 3 courses for N17 workers and freelancers.

Then we review your products and next steps to make sure you and your business achieves success.”
